This course has been developed closely with industry experts to deliver a contextualised programme with consideration of workplace and community situations, to enable students to develop skills for roles in emergency response teams, as workplace health and safety officers and emergency services officers. This is a comprehensive course, bringing together the tactical focus of TacMed instructors with military and emergency services background, and aligning it with industry knowledge and experience. This synergy will give you skills and mindset developed through the lessons of battlefield medicine to face rapidly evolving, dynamic first response situations; as well the ability to work with diverse people, provide pain relief medications, assess and manage risks in the workplace and much more.
Students will receive a Certificate II – Medical services first response HLT21015 at the completion of this course.
